Generally, my expenses for all the Filly related stuff I do (basically running three Filly websites as well as the very occasional purchase of some Filly stuff) probably averages about 30$ a month. It's not really a super expensive hobby, all things considered. I bet there's lots and lots of bronies who spend more on pony merch than I do on running websites.

Yeah, I agree that is not a vital matter, but at the same time, I remembered that the first time I ran the Italian brony comunity and I needed to name it, I thought that I wanted something that reminded me a thing from the cartoon that I liked, instead of a general name like "MlP Ita" (and I went for the "Cutie mark crusaders").
So yes, the same here. I suggest something that reminds us something of our about what we do, than something done for joke or that reminds something else, and I grow the impression that "Daily", for some reasons, reminds too much the brony blog.
I think I'm wrong here, but also I wonder if give the impression to some outsider that FnD is run by the same staff of EqD just becouse the names are very similar, or that...

When I opened this post, I wasn't though much about the brony fandom or such, but more around pratical problem to run a blog; but if we thought that is an important point to touch, here some things that my experience tought.

There are two kinds of communities: those who venerate a common interest, and those who venerate themselves.

My second biggest interest is the retrogaming, and here the main things are the machines. If you do a new game, you can gain popularity, but you are perceived anyway as one of the crowd and your stuff an addition to other many things loved here. I want say: you aren't more important than the machines, that are at the center.
Usually this should be a community that venerates a common interest.

Brony fandom seems venerate its own self appointed celeberities and memes, sometimes disconnected from the show itself.

That second video feels like a non-Filly song I know (and am not too fond of) but the chorus is nice and the collage is well-chosen.

Høres ut som en god idé. Jeg bestemte meg egentlig bare for å teste ut /int/ med denne tråden, siden vi to er de eneste som har prøvd ut Fillychan-siden på ordentlig så langt. Det hadde ikke vært noe poeng med en tysk tråd uten tyskere (og tysk-kunnskapene mine er ikke i nærheten av flytende).

Jeg har alltid sett på bildebord (Image table?) som en norsk oversettelse jeg ville brukt, men bildebrett (Imageboard som i et skateboard) ville teknisk sett vært mer riktig.

Jag ville bara säga att, om My Little Life On Mars fortfarande är här så började jag kolla på den serien nu.

Back in 2009, at a time where I hadn't seen a single life sign of My Little Pony in four years, and when Horseland ran before Pokémon Diamond and Pearl on Saturday mornings, Horseland felt very generic to me, as it was very similar to every other horse show I could receive on Nordic telly in that a lot of focus was on the ties between the horse and its rider. And back then, I perceived Horseland as being heavy on teen romances, but looking at this episode now, I can't remember how I even reached that conclusion.

It seems heavy on morals, and heavy on friendship, both of them so much that I struggled to keep my attention on it (skipping parts of the ep haphazardly). But if any other episodes have that mythical or epical (not necessarily epic quality-wise) flair over them, perhpas I can no longer speak as negatively of it as I've done in the past five years.

...Since I just now watched it and it's pretty fun (aimed at an older audience though).

Lloyd the Rockin' Unicorn is another webseries worth checking out! It's got a very Bojack-esque unicorn who gets fed up of his life (he's basically He-man) and moves to the real world to get a real job, but then his life catches up with him. It got pretty epic before being abandoned forever!

Again, not aimed at kids, but cool if you're fine with that.
